To celebrate the holidays with families all over the world, Digital Kitchen collaborated with the Microsoft Internet Explorer team and NORAD to create an interactive Santa tracker experience that brings the North Pole to life.

With a new twist on classic holiday style, we helped create a beautiful "NORAD Tracks Santa" experience that shines on modern browsers such as Internet Explorer. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has been ringing in the holidays with NORAD Tracks Santa since 1955—a program that allows families around the globe follow Santa's epic journey on Christmas Eve. In partnership with the Microsoft Internet Explorer team, NORAD and several other agencies, we helped bring the experience to life online with a design that gives users a sneak peek into the world of the North Pole.

The website used scrolling animations and a 3D illustration style to create a dioramic look into Santa's Village, inspired by classic claymation holiday films like 1964's "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer."

This year, Santa's journey added 146,307 new Twitter followers and 1.45 million "likes" on Facebook. The website attracted 19.58 million unique visitors.
