Global cruise leader Carnival Corporation set out to revolutionize the travel and leisure industry and dramatically enhance their guests’ experience with a bold, multi-billion dollar vision to digitally integrate every aspect of how guests research, plan, purchase, enjoy, and remember their dream vacation. To establish its overarching strategy, visualize and prototype the journey, as well as develop content for this groundbreaking new class of cruise experience – called “O·C·E·A·N” – Carnival partnered with creative innovators Digital Kitchen. Together, we set about reimagining ocean cruising for a new, connected, media- savvy generation, while creating a more seamless and operationally effective framework on which Carnival could build its future.

Personalization:

At its heart, O·C·E·A·N technology was conceived and developed to foster a more authentic, essential connection between Carnival and their guests. From groundbreaking on-board RFID technology that enables personalization-at-scale, to production of episodic content for Carnival’s own VOD platform, it’s an experience to which both first-time and seasoned cruisers want to belong.
